Eid ul Fitr Prayer held in Kanyakumari District.

          Eid ul Fitr prayer organised by Tamilnadu Tawheed Jam'ath was held in various parts of Kanyakumari Dist on 31.08.2011. Hundreds of men, women and children participated in this prayer which was held in open grounds(Eid Musallah) instead of Masjids as prescribed by Allah's Messenger (PBUH). Prayers were conducted soon after the sunrise. 

           There was tension in various parts of the district as the police rejected the conducting of Eid prayers in open areas. Atlast the true duas of our well wishers and the social works done by TNTJ in this district and its goodwill all over the state had created the situation conducive in for us, all praise to our Almighty. There was also continuous rain in the district on the eve of Eid. 

          Inspite of all these hindrances,flocks of people participated enthusiastically. This showed the true and complete belief in Allah that their duas will be answered and he answered the people's duas by postponing the rain by more than 12 hours.

Sermon at Thengaipattanam

The weekly sermon for men & kids was held at Thengaipattanam on 20.06.11. Aalim Kader conducted the programme.

T.N.T.J Programmes in Dheen TV

The different programmes like Quran Classes, Street Meetings, Madharasaas etc are being recorded. A selected few among them was telecasted through Dheen TV of Kanyakumari District. This has helped us in propogating true islam and also informing the people about the works done by TNTJ in the district. 

Quran classes at Thengaipattanam

On 27.06.11 the Thengaipattanam branch conducted a Quran class for men and kids. Aalim Kabeer conducted the programme.

Quran classes at Kottar

As a part of the weekly Quran class programme, Kottar branch on 21.06.11 conducted one such class for men. Aalim Zakariya Siraaj conducted the programme. 

Dhaawa Center at Kadayalumoodu

In Kadayalumoodu, a mountain terrain in our district there has been a phenomenal growth in thowheed slogan within a short duration from its inception. The people after understanding the policies are very strong in their believes & this has led to dedicated dhaawa work in that place.

The dhawa work is mainly done through notices, books, cds etc. For this activity a new dhawa center has been opened to facilitate dhawa work. This has helped in reaching the true message of islam to the non muslims, alhamthu lillah.

Thuckalay - Sermon for Men

On 17.06.2011 a sermon for conducted for men at Thuckalay TNTJ office. 
Dist speaker Nisaar Kabeer Alim made the speech.

Educational Help in Thiruvithancode

As a part of the on going Educational help programmes done by TNTJ, its Thiruvithancode branch donated Rs.6500 to a poor student on 15.06.2011.

Lunar Eclipse Prayer at Thuckalay

As the lunar eclipse occurred on 15.06.11, TNTJ Thuckalay branch conducted the prayer for lunar eclipse in accordance with the way of our Prophet(sal).

A lot of enthusiastic men joined this special prayer lead by Bro:Sameek. Later dist president Bro:Jaleel delivered a speech indicating the importance of the prayer.

Tharbiya Class in Thuckalay Branch

As a part of the religious and moral training programme conducted by TNTJ throughout TamilNadu & the Gulf, there was a tharbiya class conducted in Thuckalay on10.06.11. 

The programme was conducted by our district dhai Alim Nisaar Kabeer. The right way of taking ablution & praying shown by our Prophet Muhammad(sal) was taught to the students in detail step by step.

The students were very eager and clarified all the doubts.

MEDICAL HELP AT KANYAKUMARI BRANCH

24 years old Yaasar coming under kanyakumari Br area has a serious problem in one of his eyes which has to be operated immediately. Kanyakumari & Tirunelveli medical hospitals have left the patient and he was taken to Agarwal Hospital, Chennai. After going through all the tests it was confirmed that if his eye is not operated immediately, he has all the chances of loosing his eye sight completely. The total cost would mount to Rs.200,000. The operation was postponed due to insufficient fund. When they contacted the kanyakumari branch Rs.15,000 was given immediately . The request for medical help has been put in Unarvu Paper dt.June 24.
